The maximum weight (child plus gear) is limited to 48 lbs (22 kg). Our child carriers have been JPMA certified to this capacity and approved according to US standards.
Because children grow differently, we make no height or maximum age specifications. However, the maximum weight capacity should not be exceeded.

All Kid Comforts produced prior to 2014 did not come with stirrups and it’s not possible to retrofit the stirrups onto these models. All Kid Comfort Air, 2, and 3 that were from 2014 or newer do come with stirrups. If your KC fits into this category and you’re looking for replacements, please reach out to our warranty department.

We have established a female team of professional athletes and designers for the development of our SL packs (SL stands for Slim Line). They were designed to fit the average athletic female build. However, since not everyone fits the norm it is likely that standard models also fit female users perfectly well and vice versa. SL models also fit younger guys or men with slim builds.
